It is a great pleasure for me to welcome all the athletes and officials participating in the third international festival of martial arts hosted by Islamic Iran.In today's world, sports is talked of as a means for closing the cultures to each other irrespective of colors and nations, and it can remove the presumed barriers of races, and make the hearts closer.I hope you, the participants of this universal event, act as the envoys carrying the peace and friendship message of the Iranian nation to the whole world, and pass wonderful days in the beautiful island of Kish, the pearl of the Persian Gulf.I extend thanks to the holders of the international martial arts festival for the opportunity provided for all of us to watch fair competitions in a friendly environment.
